See what love is doing to me
I have been waiting for her at the staircase
Expecting my love to come to me
But five hours after, there is no sign of her
What am I going to do?
Definitely, I will not make a case
What if she fails to come today
I think I know what to do
No, I don’t know what to do
Yes, I know, I will wait patiently
Here, she comes, my love is coming
Up I climb the staircase to take a good look at her
My love is beautiful, she is radiantly beautiful
My God, she is more beautiful, climbing the staircase
Look at her feminine features, so captivating
Her sartorial elegance, so scintillating
She beams a romantic smile at me
Revealing her beautiful white teeth as she climbs
Her figure 8 is thrilling
My interest is keen
She is calling on me
Her voice is so golden, so emotional, so irresistible
Holding hands as if walking down the aisle, we climb together
The door to my room opens and bangs after us
Suddenly, kpoi, kpoi, kpoi, kpoi, kpoi…
Wait a minute; another figure is climbing the staircase
Who might that be? I asked myself
But I am not expecting any other person
Who is climbing the staircase? My love shouted
Are you expecting another person? She asked me?
But I pretended deafness
Curiously, she opened the door, moved out and I joined her
Behold, climbing the staircase is another
She is as beautiful as the queen of Sheba
Who are you and what do you want here? My love asked
But this exquisite beauty flashes a chilling smile at me
What! My love turns to me and breaks down in tears of disappointment
And the second beauty climbing the staircase cares not
I find her charming looks quite captivating,
I am in a dilemma
She climbs the staircase and stands in front of me
I remain speechless as she buries her sexy eyes into mine
Her arms she opens, expecting my embrace
I tried to reciprocate by moving closer like one under a spell
Suddenly, I got up
My God, it is all a dream
I looked at the time, it is 8.30am
I am already late for work
