A Black Beauty Walking Down the Road
By Ogbonnia Nwachi
October 30, 2009
Down the road
A svelte figure emerges
Wearing a skimpy dress
Revealing a body well shaped
All eyes feasting on her
She is BLACK
Her legs leggy
Her black beautiful
Down the road
She holds up human and vehicular traffic
As every man desires to catch a glimpse
At the wonderful work of God
Oh! Vehicles collide
Men collide
Okada riders collide
The cause of collision walks on
God's work can problems create
A radiant black beauty exemplifies
As she walks down the road
A supernatural artist be praised
Vehicles damaged
Injuries of varying degrees sustained
No deaths
And victims unruffled
Happy! Happy!! Happy!!
They declared
Their ordeal, a black beauty caused
The "lookery" is worth the pain
Walking down the road
A car like Obama's Beast stops
Majestically, a black beauty walks to
Door opens, she hops in
The beast zooms off
Black beauty out of sight
Her victims nursing their pains
Black beauty sometimes dangerous
Most times pleasurable
This poem is specially dedicated to black ladies all over the world.
